Miyajima 宮島

We left Iwakuni, visited Miyajima, one of my favorite places.
There were cherry blossoms in full bloom.

昨年、錦帯橋の次に訪れたのは宮島。何度行っても、いつも感動。
サクラはここでも満開。


We could walk around Torii during low tide.
着いたのは、お昼頃。引き潮の頃。






We walked up to Daisho-in.
やや高台にある、大聖院を訪れた。



Henjokutsu. There were statues and lanterns in the cave.
遍照窟（へんじょうくつ）の中。


We climbed up Misen by ropeway.
弥山（みせん）。標高535m。


The view from the top of Misen was vague due to Kosa which was yellow sand sent by winds from China. We could see the Inland Sea, Setonaikai.
瀬戸内海が見渡せる。昨年も黄砂のため、風景がぼやけていた。


The tide was coming in.
夕方には、潮が満ちつつあった。不思議な光景。
次回は、宮島で一泊して、潮の満ち引きを眺めていたいなぁ。
